Our designers created this line of custom graphics in honor of one of our favorite happy places in NYC, the High Line. An elevated railway that historically transported freight trains up and down Manhattan's West Side, the once-abandoned High Line was transformed into a public park in 2009. We got permission to print this tee with one of acclaimed photographer Joel Sternfield's photos of the High Line (from 2000, when the tracks were thick with untended weeds and grass). Then we added a crewcuts signature—embroidered sequins—to mimic pink and yellow wildflowers. Bonus: 100 percent of the net proceeds from the sale of our collection will be donated to Friends of the High Line to support the conservation and maintenance of this extraordinary space.
