Rated 3 out of 5 by MaryD Very soft and classic sweater ; but
also very thin. After wearing twice for a total of five hours; the seam came apart at the wrist. It is warmer than cotton however which is why I purchased it.

The colors (I ordered two color ways) were beautiful and the sweater soft and cozy. The knit itself survived the first wash well (I can't yet comment on pilling - or lack thereof - because my child hasn't had the sweater for long enough). BUT, after only two wearings, I put it in the wash on delicate…and pulled it out with three buttons having fallen off. Not the end of the world, but sewing three buttons back on a new sweater isn't how I had most hoped to spend my time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AJNYC LOVE! Buying Again
I bought this sweater for my daughter when she was 3, sized up to a 4-5 (she is big for her age). She has worn this sweater more than any other piece of clothing she has had. It is thin, super warm and not itchy. We use it all year round. It is perfect for layering. The colors are gorgeous. Fast forward 3 years and she still wears it even though it's way too small. I am purchasing another one in a size 8 and I know that it will get as much wear as the first one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jennie Great sweater, wish cashmere was higher quality
I'm an adult, 5' 6" 125 lbs, and I buy the girls size 12 to fit like a mini/3/4-length cardi/shrug. I like it being a little tighter to go with skirts for a polished look. Great style and color. J. Crew cashmere is not the highest quality. Wish it was softer. Still, on sale, would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cary J. Crew cashmere is my favorite!
I purchased this sweater for my granddaughter. She is adorable in this sweater. My little Angel, got her first cashmere sweater from J.Crew, when she was a newborn. The quality is outstanding. These sweaters last and last. My granddaughter told her mother that Santa, wears a brown suit instead of red because when the UPS, truck pulls up she knows she is getting something wonderful to wear from J. Crew.
