Rated 1 out of 5 by from Try hard to like them Made my purchase 2 months ago and have been trying really hard to like the shoes. First, they are far from comfortable to wear. The soles and leather are so hard that you feel as if you were wearing something made out of wood. I initially thought it's because breaking-in takes time, but after several wears it still feels the same. Second, the quality of the shoes definitely leaves great room for improvement. For that price, I was expecting craftsmanship that reflects a higher level of attention to details. One problem is the size and serial number of the shoes are HAND-WRITTEN with blue ball-pen on the inner side of the shoes, not on the tongues but near the heels... Another problem is black ink blotches can be found inside the shoes, which most likely come from spilling when they colored the exterior of the shoes. Guess it's because those shoes are actually made in China instead of the US or EU. Overall, not a great value while comfort and quality of the shoes are compromised.
