Product Details

Our Crosby blazer is tailored with the athletic guy in mind, because while 18" biceps are hard to come by, a blazer that fits them shouldn't be. We added extra room in the chest, shoulders and sleeves but kept the quality construction and timeless design we're famous for. Perfect for warmer weather, this blazer (made from cotton fabric from the Larusmiani mill in Milan, Italy) is how you lighten up your tailored looks without sacrificing any style.

Crosby blazer in Italian cotton

Crosby blazer in Italian cotton is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Athletic fit? Yes! I've worn Ludlow sportcoats before and, while the fit was okay, it was definitely snug in the shoulders and popped in the chest. This Cosby model actually fits my shoulders and even more importantly, it fits my chest! I'll have to get the coat tapered a bit for a better fit in the waist and hips. Since it's a side vent, they can easily take in the center back seam. Overall, I love the light fabric, unlined, etc. Just wish they had it in more colors for this Florida boy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Made for Larger Guys If you've got some meat on your bones, be it muscle or fat, J. Crew jackets are not for you. I'm 6'2", 190. Athletic, but not particularly large (at least in my opinion). Ludlows don't fit me at all, and even the Crosby is a little tight. I had to go up to a 42 and the shoulders are slightly wide on me, so I get dimpling. Wide around the middle so I had to get it taken in at the sides and in the back (not to mention having the pockets unsewn and re-sewn). It's a little tight in the arms. Great looking jacket with my arms at my sides, but not so great if I have to move at all. Really don't think J. Crew suiting is for anything but guys who have smaller builds, even the Crosby.
