What are my shipping options?

We're excited to offer flat-rate shipping to Canada for USD 9.95. We ship via UPS Standard service directly to your door. You will receive your order in four to seven business days from the date your order was placed. Taxes will be included in your order total. No additional duties will be applied at checkout or upon delivery. Customs delays can be common when shipping to Canada, so please factor this in when placing your order. Orders shipped to multiple addresses will be charged USD 9.95 for each individual shipment.

All shipments to Canada must be made to a physical address. We are unable to ship to Canada P.O. Boxes. Attention: Customers ordering shipments to the Yukon, Northwest or Nunavut territories must call 800 562 0258 to complete their order. Orders shipped to these territories cannot be processed at jcrew.com at this time.

We do not offer overnight delivery to Canada, but we can send your package in three business days via UPS Express for a flat rate of USD 25. In cases where UPS Standard service is not available, your order will default to UPS Express and will be shipped at a flat rate of USD 25.

Orders shipped to different addresses will be charged separately per individual shipment. Any items shipped via UPS Express to one address will be shipped at a flat rate of USD 25 while items shipped via UPS Standard to another address will be shipped at USD 9.95.

Duty Refund

By ordering goods from J.Crew, you authorize our licensed Canadian customs broker to act as your agent and to transact business with the CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency) to clear your merchandise and account for applicable duties and taxes, to return merchandise to J.Crew and to prepare and submit refund claims on your behalf for any merchandise that you return. You understand that the CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the broker and that you will obtain the refund directly from J.Crew. In this connection, you also authorize the customs broker to endorse any refund check issued by the CBSA in your name so that J.Crew can be reimbursed.

Duty (or customs tariffs) is set by the destination country customs authorities and is determined based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that our e-commerce partner, Borderfree, supports. Tax rates are set by the destination country. You will be able to view the guaranteed total amount of applicable duty and taxes for your order at checkout.

Are there any additional costs that will be due upon receipt of my order?

Why are return costs so much higher than before?

We have switched to a new international shipping partner, Borderfree, and return processing is now handled by DHL. DHL offers a higher level of service, providing pick-up services and parcel protection. Return shipping rates are now set by DHL.

Why am I unable to use a promo code?

We are thrilled to offer, for a limited time, a duty-free shopping experience, with free shipping and free returns! From time to time, J.Crew may offer additional promotions, which will be available to customers in Japan.

I have a gift card that I had planned to use online. Why is this no longer a payment option?

Unfortunately, Borderfree cannot accept J.Crew gift cards as a payment method. Please contact Ritsuko at ritsuko@jcrew.com for help.
