Why We’re Choosing Fair Trade
When you see a Fair Trade Certified™ label on our products, it means they were made in certified factories that must meet rigorous social, environmental and economic standards.
By partnering with Fair Trade USA, we aim to help empower workers by ensuring safe working conditions and supporting the advancement of worker livelihoods. For each Fair Trade Certified product, J.Crew pays a premium that goes directly to a fund run by the people who make our clothes. Each factory forms a democratically elected committee that decides how this money is used—whether to fund a daycare center, to build an on-site clinic or as direct cash bonuses."
