Wallace & Barnes peak-lapel suit jacket in Italian wool

Wallace & Barnes peak-lapel suit jacket in Italian wool is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very, very nice suit As other reviewers have noted, the fabric is thicker than the standard year-round Ludlow suiting fabric. I think it may be a wool flannel but am not enough of a fabric expert to say for sure. The fabric definitely has some texture but is comfortable to wear in cooler weather - i.e. fall through spring. Not a summer suit. What I can say for sure is that this suit looks fantastic. How can I say that with such certainty? Because I got three compliments on this suit, from three different people, the first day I wore it this fall. The second time I wore it I again got multiple compliments. This has never happened to me with any other suit I have ever owned, or any other article of clothing. So, yeah, I'm pretty certain it looks great. The color is a heathered grayish blue that works well with different shirt and tie combos and can be worn with brown or black shoes, though I think it looks sharper with brown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite suit. I have three suits from J. Crew, and this Wallace & Barnes offering has taken the top spot in my closet. I was first a little turned off by the feel of the fabric, but came to love it as I realized how versatile it is. This suit seems to have magical powers, which make every shirt and tie combination absolutely pop. Paired with a Drake's tie, this suit can't be beat. Fit is great--on the slim side. The wool is pretty thick as well, which is perfect for me since I live in a cold climate. All in all, I had some reservations about this suit at the beginning but they had all been taken care of under the service of a true, beautiful workhorse suit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality blazer This is a very low quality blazer. It almost feels like a cardboard box. The pictures look great, but in person it looks and feels bad. This doesn't even compare to my other high quality LUDLOW blazers. I'll be returning it.
