Louisa shift dress in slub silk
Product Details

You don't have to be a bridesmaid—or even invited to a wedding—to wear this cute cocktail dress. It's made from lightweight textured silk (think modern and easy, with just a touch of sheen for the best photos) and finished with pleating details at the waist. A high-cut neckline and a low-cut back give new meaning to business in the front, party in the back (yeah, we went there).

Louisa shift dress in slub silk

Louisa shift dress in slub silk is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poorly constructed top The top of this dress is too large. It gaps in the back and up around the shoulders. The darts hit across the chest too high, which will make it even harder to take in. There's just a lot of extra fabric. The waist fits correctly, and though I prefer it to be an inch shorter, the length is as described. I gave it three stars for style because it is so sloppy compared to the picture on the website. I am also disappointed in how thin the fabric is, which is why I only gave it three stars for quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty style, only okay execution This dress has a pretty, lower back (not so low that it doesn't cover a bra), but the low back results in a larger bust circumference than normal. I have a decent rack, so normally the extra room is welcome, but this dress is just poorly styled. It also wrinkles super easily. The overall effect is still nice, though, so I'm taking the dress for a nip and tuck in the bust. I'm 5'7", about 130# and 34D.
