Unlined, but great for early Spring
4 days agoI bought a natural color and sized down to 0. The size 2 would have been a better choice if I wanted a relaxed fit, but no other choice because it was out of stock. Still, a good pubchase, though.

Wonderful coat! I love it!
1 week agoThis coat is adorable -- stylish & comfortable. As others have pointed out, it's light-weight (not too heavy to wear or carry around all day) yet quite warm, likely thanks to the partial cashmere content. I got it in black, as I find myself wearing my black coats more often. It's cut to be somewhat over-sized and drop-shouldered on top, yet tapers to a more flattering fit on the bottom, so don't size down overly. I sized down one size (from my usual 10 to an 8) and it fits beautifully. Plenty of room for layering sweaters etc. underneath, as one wants in a winter coat.

Fits big
Built Bigger, but not Better
2 weeks agoI purchased a size 2, and it is huge. Beyond huge. The shoulder seam isn't anywhere near my shoulders. This is a consistent issue with J Crew: their sizes are always a hit or a miss. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this can't be returned, and I am not sure if this coat will fit anyone properly. Does J Crew use fit models? Are they paying sewing schools rather than professional businesses to make their clothes?

2 weeks agoUnlined but I like that. It's less bulky for wearing in the car while still being warm. So stylish. Long for me at 5'3", longer than mid calf but not ankle. Perfect!
