Sizing is off
1 week agoI really wish J. Crew would stop marketing maxi as midi. If it hits my ankle it’s not a midi. I’m 5’5” and a consistent 6. I ordered the S, and it was to my ankles and very large in the underarms. As others have said, this is pretty sheer and unlined, but a lightweight slip under would do the trick. Sadly had to return due to length and size in the underarms

Error in sewing
1 week agoI really like the fabric of this dress and I was looking forward to wearing it. However, I noticed a small slip up for the sewing. I do not know how to sew, so I cannot describe this error. However, as you can see in the picture, it is sued wrong as it is on top of the portion that is supposed to be shaped as a triangle. It is a minor mistake, however, it does make my dress look unbalanced. Although I understand that mistakes can made, staff members in the production should also check to see if the dresses are in good condition to be sold. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you can use this to improve your next design.

Lovely linen dress
1 week agoI bought this dress for a family event and have worn it a few times since. It’s great for work as well. The black hides some of the linen’s natural wrinkling, and it looks polished but also super comfortable.

Classic black dress
1 week agoLove this classic, elegant look! I’m 5’ 8” and the M was perfect. The only downside for me was a gap in the buttons across the chest.
