Harrington jacket in Italian suede

Very high quality, stylish jacket. Received many compliments!!

I have exchanged this items four times now, the fourth time being apparently delivered after being examined by the quality control team and yet was received with an even larger defect in the suede. I've closely examined multiples of this product in at least two stores and essentially nearly all of these jackets have at least one near full thickness tear/cut in the suede, exposing the bottom most layer of the split grain and with a weakness in the leather you can physically feel from the inside of the lining. Unfortunately most customers of this product -- at least of the current batch of the mahogany color -- probably don't notice these defects, most measuring 1-2cm in size or larger. It's unfortunately a sign of poor quality hides that are being used to construct this split suede and overtime these defects will widen with wear. This is not worth the retail price of ~900$ and even not worth the discounted 600$ for the initial purchase I made. contrary to some of the reviews here definitely not "top tier" and I've seen 300$ split suede jackets be made of higher quality than this and free of defects. I encourage purchasers of this product closely examine their jackets. These defects seem to be most commonly found in the L lower flank and the bottom part of the sleeves based on all the products I've examined in store.

I LOVE this jacket. After trying it on several times in store I finally decided to buy it, and I’m glad I did. I’m 5’ 11’ 190lbs with a 44” chest and could’ve gone with a M or L but went with the M for a more tailored fit as I plan on not layering more than a light sweater underneath. It’s a classic design that’s been around forever and the suede is soft a beautiful. This feels and looks like an elevated piece that I’ll be wearing for a long time.

Exchanged it three times so far and still finding cuts in the nap layer of the suede exterior. Something is going on with the QC of this product
