Wide-brim bucket hat

Today, while wearing my navy oversized brim uva coated bucket hat, a woman approached me in the supermarket to tell me my hat was cute. When I thanked her, she added, “It’s so you.” Although the brim is oversized to protect my face and neck fro the sun’s rays, the hat is light as a feather! Thanks JCrew.

I was looking for a foldable cotton hat with a UV rating and good coverage. There were a few I considered online at varying price points. This one checked all the boxes, came in navy, and was priced well for what it is. I paid full price. It took a bit of getting used to as it is oversized. On these hot and humid dog days of summer I enjoyed wearing it on my dog walks, as long as it was proportional with the outfit I was accessorizing. I have not packed it up yet. But, I suspect it will do well folded since it was shipped in the navy plastic bag and stuffed in my mail box. Yes, I recommend this item. I took a small/medium.

This hat, although a little wider and deeper than most, can be worn on numerous occasions. From beachwear, sporty, and casual, it can acomodate Bought it in two colors, Black and Pale Oak.

Love the wide brim, great to block sun, and very fashion forward. A new twist on a classic staple!

I have tried various hats to fit my big head. This is the best one ! Love it. Hope there are more colors.

I wanted a wide-brim bucket hat that would work for literally everything - casual, dressy, hot weather, cold weather (in California) and this is perfect. I love that the brim doesn’t have distracting ribbon texture. The shape and structure feels very classic but also wearable. I have other bucket hats that are just really floppy and feel like baby beach bonnets. This is a grown-up version. As a person who literally never leaves the house without a hat I would buy this in so many more colors! (And patterns!)
