Washing shortened the inseam on the multicolored plaid shorts by at least an inch, even though I followed the wash/dry directions exactly as written on the label. Otherwise, the shorts fit similarly to the regular chino shorts of the same waist size, and they were a good deal on sale. Now that I know this happens with J Crew linen shorts, I'll buy ones with a 9 inch inseam in the future.

Super comfortable casual short pairs both with linen as well as cotton tops. With linen, the whole outfit has an elevated summer vibe. Very happy with them!
