J.Crew X Alden® 405 Indy boots in suede

I have a particular fondness for blue suede shoes, and had been looking for a good pair of Alden boots to bring my shoe collection to the next level. It would be nice if these came in wider sizes, but even though I typically where a 3e these actually worked out very well after a brief break in period. Now these are my go to boots. Between the navy suede and the contrast stitch these are surprisingly versatile. Plus as an overgrown kid I can't help but feel excited just to say I'm wearing Indy boots. If you appreciate a flawlessly constructed shoe that will last nearly forever and look better with age these are amazing!

If you're here you already know what Alden is all about, and you probably already know all about the Indy. It's amazing and comfortable. I had to size down by a whole size and a half from my sneaker size since they're so wide. These are long.

If you are an Alden lover then you perhaps don’t need to review this. This is exceptionally good boots in navy with white linings. They look more better in person. Haven’t used them yet but they are more comfortable out of box than Indy cromaxle boots. If you are a shoe collector then this should be in your closet! Wish they came during early fall or late summer. Can’t use them in winter. Only thing I would be cautious is those white lining getting dark but if you are investing in this boots then perhaps you have more shoes to preserve for specific occasions!
