Timeless perfection
1 day agoI’ve looked and looked for a coat like this, it’s unlined which I LOVE it’s literally perfect in every way. I’m 5’3 so I love that this is made in petite. It’s a great tailored but slouchy ii. perfect way all season timeless staple I’ll reach for over and over a blend of a wrap coat and a tailored top coat if you will. Old money vibes. Truly this is worth its weight in gold it's my most beautiful to date.

Lovely
4 days agoThis coat is lovely. I usually wear a size 6 in J.Crew coats but chose a size 2 in this one. It still has plenty of room to fit over a suit jacket. It does not have a liner and is a true top coat. I was thrilled to get it during a sale.

Burgundy made me look like grimace
6 days agoI tried available tan color on in the store. I sized down with a good fit at the shoulders and a somewhat oversized fit through the body and had them ship it. I'm 5'4, 130 lb straight through the hip, flat torso, broad shoulders, athletic build. When the burgundy arrived it was a beautiful color, however, the body of this coat was twice as large as the one in the store, same size. I tried it on several times in hopes that something would change. Nice and fitted through the shoulders, but the body made me look double my size. I like an oversized fit, but this did not fit my frame nor flatter my body type. This jacket is not lined, hitting just past the shin. I recommend trying on this coat before purchasing and taking home the one you try on as there seems to be some variation in size between colors. I wear size 4 in all j.Crew blazers, typically wear an extra small or 2 in shirts. I wear a zero to a six in jackets and coats. I ordered this in a 2.

Lyocell is NOT Plastic
1 week agoI don't mind lyocell. Somebody said it's plastic and quality not there, but I disagree. Lyocell is a sustainable man-made cellulose fiber, often made from wood pulp like eucalyptus, known for its softness, breathability, and moisture-wicking properties. It is a more eco-friendly alternative to other fabrics like viscose (quoted)

Chiara Top Coat
1 week agoThis is one of the nicest coats I've purchased. I've been looking for a long warm trench like coat for many years. I've tried on many designer brands and many felt boxy and heavy. This cashmere and wool combo is so light and comfortable to wear. Goes great with everything! Casual and Dressy!!! I love it!!!! One of the best JCrew items to purchase!!!
