Slim-fit vest in linen

First of all, let me say I’m so happy to have grabbed this in the black and buff colors … They were sold out when I saw them for the first time but coming back to check whether there are returns or new stock has paid off. A week ago, I found my size (14) in black and today in the buff color … The buff color was my first choice … I love the neutral hue … When I got the black and it fit me to the t, I was determined to stalk the buff color too 😀 … The fit is true to size, beautiful distressed linen, could be worn alone or over a T-shirt … And it’s not sloppy or anything, it’s fitted and flatters your curves. Very nice and so very happy I got it in the 2 colors I wanted … The pink is nice but would limit the versatility of the piece … Thank you, JCrew!

I loved the look but it was a bit short. It needs to be about an inch longer in the front, IMO. I'm returning

According to the website's fitting, I wear a 2. I ordered a 2. My torso got lost in all the fabric. I ordered a 0. Still too big. Now I have to pay return shipping on two items from two separate orders due to j crew's inconsistent sizing & for it's inaccurate "what size fits me" function, as well as it's inaccurate size charts. J crew: 1. offer the same generous free returns your sister company, madewell offers. given your inconsistent sizing, buying your clothing on line has become an expensive gamble. 2. you heard from us: please make more of these 100% linen vests! please consider blue, white, more black. Thanks.

I am so confused by the reviews of this vest. It is cut so strangely. I REALLY wanted to love it but it was HUGE. I got a size 4. It fit through the chest (I'm a 32 D) but then it sort of tented out from there - making a sort of triangle shape. There is no adjustment in the back to make it more fitted through the waist. It was a total NO

Some reviews found it smaller, so I got the black vest size up one from my usual 14. The 16 is perfect, classic and timeless. You can wear it with anything from jeans to shorts, etc. Quality ia good and I bought is with the shorts it was displayed with. Great buy.Highly recommended.

I’ve been looking for a linen vest for a while and this fit the bill. Light weight but not cheap. Fits true to size.
