Cute pinstripe shift dress
1 day agoReally cute shift dress. I was surprised that I needed to size up one size. Length is perfect. The long ribbons on the zipper are a bit odd but help with solo zippering! For reference, I’m 5’4”. 107 #. 36B and usually take a size 2 regular in JC but for this dress I took a size 4.

Perfect Classic Shift
1 week agoClassic shift. Wore it to a social event, but can easily be worn to the office. Love the back zipper detail and found the dress to be very flattering.

Cute but runs very short
1 week agoCute cut and nice fabric with lining. I love the detail on the back zipper. It does run small, I sized up one from my normal size. As others have noted, it runs very short. Makes no sense because it’s clearly a cut and fabric that is meant for work but it is a very mini. I am 5’6 with long legs and it was above mid thigh. The tall wasn’t available in my size so I am going to see if a tailor can let it out a little bit to make it work. Frustrating!

Too Short
1 week agoI was thrilled to see such an updated classic at J. Crew! I’m ready to elevate my work wardrobe & didn’t hesitate to order this with the matching jacket & pants…beautiful pieces & while I adored the dress…it was mid-thigh on me & I’m barely 5’4”. Super disappointed! Ordered a 6 & it was a perfect fit, great material, just way too short for my office.
