Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Jean For the price this a decent jean. I'm 5'9" and weigh 185 (muscular build). I normally wear a 32/32, but these ran big.....I know others had a different experience with them running small.....but the waist was larger than all the other JCrew jeans I own. If you cuff your pants at the bottom, these are not the best for that. Great color, and I would recommend it.....it's just hard to say if they would run big or small since a few of us have had different experiences.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good for your health... fashion health that is I actually hesitated before making the purchase, just because right next to these was a pair of white jeans... perfect for spring/summer right? yes, BUT a very helpful clerk at the store told me these can be worn throughout the year unlike the white ones. SOLD! I also bought a pair of 770's in crinkle resin and I felt they ran more true to size. So you may want to size up when buying these jeans.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FALSE ADVERTISING I am really disappointed because I love the wheat color. JCrew claims that these are made with selvedged denim, but that is a LIE. My first thought after opening the bag was "hmm these are really soft for selvedge.." Then I looked at the cuff and saw that they are using a serger stitch (what all non-selvedge uses) but they changed the color to red and made it very small and tight to LOOK like selvedge. Then inside the hip area they switch to your standard (AND CHEAP) serger stitch. Real selvedge denim is not stitched on the ends! I have lost much faith in JCrew after today. The whole point in wearing selvedge denim is that it is rugged, tough, and conforms to your shape. If I wanted cheaply made jeans I could buy some for a whole lot cheaper!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great jeans but terrible if you have leg muscles I'm not a powerlifter or an aspiring bodybuilder, but I enjoy regular strength training and that includes training legs. Unfortunately, these 770s cannot be worn by anyone who's done a squat and/or deadlift in their life. I'm a lean 6' 190 lbs. guy and I even went up to the 33" waist to accommodate my thighs to no avail. Should've known this would happen considering all of JCrew's male models are built like flagpoles. Will unfortunately have to return these.
