Just received my jumper in black in Size 4. Super cute! Fit definitely is true to size. The waist area is nice and snug. I have a short torso so the straps need to be shortened a tiny bit. The website shows the leg area to be tapered but actually it's more of a wide leg and it hits just above my ankle (I'm 5'3").

I agonized over whether to purchase this online never having tried it on and not being super familiar with J. Crew sizes currently. I read every review and and am grateful for the people who took the time to note their size/correct fit. The straps have a small adjustable section in the back, in case it's not visible online. Size 2 in this fits me perfectly, and I'd say this jumpsuit runs a size smaller on top than waist down. If that's what you need, great, if not, it might be frustrating. I'm small on top (2, XS, 34C), short-waisted, and am a size bigger waist down (4-6 in most grownup brands, and the J. Crew trumpet tweed skirt I got in 4 fits perfectly). There is no extra room in the bust in this jumpsuit, at least in the 2. I'll go with no bra and it will be fine--any padding would be too much. Yet there is some extra room in the thighs and legs. The eyelet is high quality and this jumpsuit is well-constructed. Love it! Thank you J. Crew :)

Another well made piece! I ordered a size down, which seems to be the norm at J Crew for me. Super comfortable!

I'm in the fashion Industry, the jumpsuit fit perfectly, the quality is fantatisk, I would recommend other people to buy it, for sure.

I took a chance on this jumpsuit on sale and I’m really glad I did. I got it in black and it has a really sweet Audrey Hepburn vibe. Its as comfortable as a fitted non stretch jumpsuit is ever going to be. Its super well made and flattering and machine washable. Im happy.

Good fabric, good style. I think it is one ever green piece that everybody should have !
