Great coat. Supple suede and nice, soft interior pattern.

[Employee of jcrew] I saw some people saying it fit big but I didn’t have the problem. I’m 5’10 and purchased a medium. The quality of the jacket speaks for itself. The weight of the jacket is like if I was wearing 3 jackets.

This jacket is a re-issue from an earlier 2022 release when Brendon Babenzien first joined Jcrew. The quality of the suede is superb. Thick and supple, and you can feel the individual hairs in the suede. One flaw is they removed the action back from this release, while being present in the 2022 version, which is a shame as that feature is typically a staple design of the barn coat. Even the pictures of the back of this jacket seem to point towards an action back, but alas it is not there. On the plus side, there are two additional pockets underneath the patch pockets in the front, which was not present in the 2022 version. Overall a fantastic jacket.

Great jacket! Bought for my husband- he loves it! Heavy weight, runs a little on the large side, but fantastic quality. Classic style and will last for decades!

5’8” 180 xl fit perfectly. Good quality and a comfortable fit. Well worth the money will pair with many outfits. I wasn’t disappointed. I also liked that when you rolled up the sleeve it matched the collar.

Concur with the other reviewers, this is a truly fantastic garment in every sense. Note: It is quite heavy and made for colder winter weather. Color is really wonderful. I wear a 42, size large fits perfect.
