The support/reinforcement piece in the back is navy--i think it should definitely be color-matched--the quality and feel of that part feels pretty low, too. Overall, good tie, silk, not "defective" so no qualms in that aspect. I think the color matching would go a long way--because it's a 60" tie as well, it takes some finagling to get that navy bit to not show in the knot--though I'm sure ideally that bit wouldn't be in the knot (I'm 5'10"

Amazing quality, texture and beautiful color

Great tie, very versatile. I own the same tie in blue. Looks great with a suit and a crisp shirt or jeans and an oxford.
