Love this sweater. The Eggplant color is rich and looks even better in person. Great quality…comfortable, breathable, and it’s got a nice structure. I got a medium and it fits a bit relaxed; I probably could’ve gone with a small for a more tailored look. If you’re between sizes, consider sizing down. Overall, a great staple piece.

I took a gamble buying this on FINAL SALE, and had a close call, but it paid off. I'm 5'5", and for the past few years have been wearing size Small in J Crew Heritage sweaters. I've never owned this version though, and at first the torso fit too long. I feared it was money wasted, but I washed it on Delicate cycle, HOT water for about 50 min, and then dried it at the max temp for roughly an hour. Lo and behold, the torso shrank to an ideal length, and the sleeves remained at a good length. This sweater fits comfortably close, which I prefer over the newer "relaxed fit" items. If you're short and are tempted by the sale price, go for it (and then shrink it)!

Great heavy cotton sweater. Got the heather natural color which looks and feels like unbleached cotton. Very soft, warm, but still breathable. I am 6’1”, 190lbs and the large fits perfectly.
