Very comfortable sweater.

Solid all cotton sweater with nice collar that washes well

Nice enough for work. Good for chilly morning when you don’t need a coat.

For reference, I'm 5'9" and have broad shoulders (19") and a broad chest, 44". I prefer a classic fit (not slim or baggy). The quality of the material is good, and it has a nice weight to it. The cotton and open weave of fabric make this ideal for spring, summer or fall (or winter if you run hot). However, the fit is poor. It's too boxy, and the armholes are not close enough to the body--it's a telltale sign of poor, one-size-fits-all craftsmanship. The fit in the body was much too baggy. Frankly, I stopped shopping at J.Crew 5 years ago when most of their garments started being made from synthetic materials. I came back after seeing their commitment to more natural fibers — bought the heritage cotton quarter-zip in large, and it fit perfectly and the quality was great! I hope J.Crew gets back to quality, well-fitting clothing--even if it costs more, I would pay it! I love the brand!
