These are easily the best fitting, nicest looking sweatpants I’ve ever found for my son, who loathes jeans and khakis. The sizing is accurate, the fabric is durable and does not pill. However, they shrink. A lot. After two washes, they were nearly two inches shorter. My local store refused a return because they had been “worn”. I have shopped at J Crew my entire life and am terribly disappointed with the increasingly stringent return policies. Quality has always been “assured”... clearly this is no longer an authentic guarantee. To note: I purchased three full sets in various colors (matching hoodies). The tops shrank excessively as well. No bueno, J Crew.

Sweats are adorable, true to size, perfect fit for my tall and thin 5 year old. However, after one wear to pre-k, he came home with a hole in the knee. The material seems durable and comfortable. Kind of shocked and very disappointed about the hole.

It’s been so hard for me to find a comfy yet not sweat pant looking pant for my son. I was happy these pants looked more put together but I was disappointed that they got a hole in the knee after half a days wear!

Thanks to J Crew for making these slim cut sweat pants. My athletic twin boys (not identical, one of whom is super slim) drown in almost every brand of pants and shorts. These slim-fit sweats are what they want to wear most days. I appreciate that, unlike other brands, J Crew’s sweats have a fully functional drawstring waist. Some brands that used to fit them switched their drawstrings to short, decorative ties that cannot close enough to stay up on my boys.

Love these for my son. They are nice and thick, and have a stylish slim fit.

Sizing has become so inconsistent for things like this. Too many cut at once so they run the spectrum of too small to too big within just one size, length and width. Then they shrunk an entire size after they washed. The size 7s were now the same Size as the 6s. I bought a bunch if these for my two boys and they can’t wear them.
