Where can I find the pants to match this it’s a beautiful jacket

I wanted a classic jacket to wear with the matching pants, as well as jeans. This fits the bill, light weight wool, good to wear 12 months a year.

As a professional ascends the corporate ladder it is always smart to be dressed well. Sometimes that isn’t as easy as it sounds since clothing can be expensive. After 20+ years of working in a suit & tie I have been lucky enough to afford some of the elegant J. Crew pieces including cashmere blazers and the fantastic wool suits. I wanted to try a new size as I lost weight so I purchased this new offering. The materials are mixed to make it less expensive. The net result is a real Ludlow fit but with a feel that’s not quite as luxurious as the 100% wool or cashmere pieces. Still, I got a lot of compliments on it when paired with a crisp white dress shirt and black satin tie. I may buy another one in black and I do recommend the suit to those who want to look good - for less. The all wool suits are better when you can spend more (or if they have a suit sale) but this is a great option.

Not a fan of the updated lapels. I have one of the older Ludlows and it really is the perfect coat. I get that larger lapels are better for a wider body but for a slim cut suit, you can’t have lapels that protrude to the shoulders. This ain’t 1992 and we don’t wear our dads hand-me-downs.

No matter how hard I try I can’t get matching pants. I’ve tried three times, and all three times the fabric is different and doesn’t match the jacket. It’s very frustrating. I’m giving up. I’ll keep the jacket, but now I have to go buy a real blue suit somewhere else.
