Kaya pant in stretch linen blend

Bought this a few weeks ago. I really love the fit, quality and especially color! I found it to be true to size for me (I’m 5ft 1in, usually in a size 6). The intended length for the pants is a crop length, so above the ankle for those who are taller. With me being on the shorter end of the height spectrum, the length was perfect for regular length trousers where the bottom hem of the trouser legs hit just a hair above the floor. The front pockets are sewn shut and I don’t know if they’re just for show or actual pockets that are tack stitched. The stitching looks like they’re more robust so I don’t want to take it apart for fear of creating unnecessary holes but it feels as if there are pocket linings when I feel between the inner lining and outside pants material.

Nice pants just not for me being too high rise. Great pant if the style works for you and true to size. Most JCrew pants are too high rise for short waisted women. I tried Stella instead, but the smaller the size, the shorter the pants get as well. So at 5’6” size 2, difficult to find a pant.

I went into the store looking for a different style of linen pant which I was told was not in stock. The sales team brought the Kaya pant out for me to try instead and I ended up purchasing it in white. While I was a bit desperate for something to wear, these features were what sold me: nice classic trouser pockets, length can be worn with sneakers with no hemming (I would describe as being between ankle length and cropped) and the waist fit well - no gap or squeeze -followed a good line and was flattering. It is also a big deal that Jcrew white linen does not show through. You can wear black undergarments with no problem.
