October 30, 2025I only just realized a few weeks ago that '47 was doing this collaboration with J. Crew. As a Boston boy, I loved seeing the local teams and my alma mater represented; I scooped up the Sox caps in Twill (twice) and the Tweed BC cap. The last 'infinity stone,' so to speak, was the Tweed Red Sox hat. I am pretty sure it was sold out online almost immediately, and remains the only Tweed caps out of stock (come on, Cubs and Phillies fans, what's up? Still lots of your hats in stock.) These don't even have 'In stock' alerts you can sign up for, so I'm pretty sure they are gone. I called the Newbury Street store in Boston and spoke to a lovely girl who told me my best best was the Burlington MA site. I called and luckily they had one left. Needless to say I was in the store within the hour, and the hat was on my head shortly thereafter. Couldn't be happier with the service from J Crew, or my timing quite frankly. My only design input would be the "B" might look better in all white or grey just to set the Tweed hats apart a bit from the twill variation. Regardless, Im glad to add it to the '47 brand collaboration collection and hope to see more. Thanks!
