Let them stretch!
2 days agoI almost returned these because they felt so tight on my thighs when I first got them, but I'm glad I kept them because they stretched out and are now far more comfortable. If you try these on and they fit your waist and leg length, but they just feel a little tight, I would recommend wearing them for a day and letting them stretch out a bit before committing to a return.

Finally, a goldilocks pair of chinos.
2 days agoI have a tall, thin, 16-yo son who despises denim. He's a chinos guy, and after his latest growth spurt, I struggled to find a pair he liked that wasn't too slim, too baggy, too short, too thin, too formal, too casual. These are just right. I got him three pairs (to add to his variety of other chinos), and these are always his first-off-the-hanger choice. We've actually taken to doing a load of laundry mid-week so he can wear these more frequently. One thing I appreciate: the extended sizing on the inseam. He has very long legs, and it's nice to know that we can size up on the inseam if he shoots up another couple inches. He's 6'1, 160 lbs, and we got him a 32/34. If he grows at all, we'll need to size up on the inseam, but currently these are a perfect fit.
