Druthers™ organic cotton boxers

Intro: I've bought several pairs of these boxers to wear as leisure shorts, and I think they're perfect for that, but I admit I can't imagine wearing them as underwear since they are pretty loose and would probably feel like wearing shorts under your pants. To be fair, I'm a life-long briefs-wearer, so any brand of boxers would feel that way to me. Fabric: Not only is the cotton organic, which I love, it's also very crisp and light - almost papery like percale sheets, so it's a great fabric for warm/hot weather. Cons: • The waistband is a bit too plush for my liking, although it's not a big deal. • The plush inner side of the waistband tends to collect lint and hair a little too easily. • The seat is a little droopy, which can look a bit diaper-ish, so I do wish they were a little more fitted in the back. • Again, as underwear, these might not be as form-fitting as you want, but since I only wear them as leisure shorts, it's not an issue for me. Summary: These are great shorts, with tons of comfort and design options (especially if you go on the Druthers site), and their customer service is fantastic!

First of all, the materials aren't anything special. They feel normal. What makes this piece awful is the fit since it doesn't conform to the shape of the body. It feels slightly small but there's excess material where you don't need it! Specifically in the front near the bend of your hips. It presses slightly on your package in the center but there's a lot of space to the side closer to the thighs. It feels like they shaped the front like the back... in case anyone had two pairs of buttocks. There's an acceptable amount of room in the back and the size of the leg openings are fine. When you sit or bend your hips (or sleep) it just puts a little pressure on everything, even your outer thighs, which prevents your legs from spreading! Remember, the materials aren't stretchy. However, what's weird is if the legs ride all the way up, everything conforms a bit better and you can move more. Guess this thing is designed to ride up??Awful. Never buying from Druthers again.

I stopped wearing printed cotton boxer shorts as they were becoming lower & lower in quality. I had switched to only yard-dye cottons (stripes, plaids, solids) instead. Something intrigued me about the Druthers boxers on in the partners area of the J.Crew site, so I ordered a pair. LOVE them! In fact, I've gone onto J.Crew, bought all the patterns I like from them & then went to the Druthers site & bought 3 more prints from them that J.Crew was out of.
