Berkeley overnight tote in suede

I had a feeling J.Crew would nail this one—and they did. If you like non-branded, high-quality leather, this is for you. The black is rich and the leather doesn’t feel plastic-y at all and the bag has "feet" to protect the body of it from the ground. The strap contrast is very dark; it didn’t bother me, but I wanted to mention it in case that’s something you notice. Overall, the quality is excellent. I plan to use this for road trips. I wouldn’t personally put it in an overhead compartment—but if you like a little wear and tear on your gear, you do you. Love, love, love. My only regret is not monogramming it. I’ll have to settle for a bag charm (or two).

I gave this bag to my daughters and daughter-in-laws for Christmas. They were a hit. They are a great size - definitely overnight, but not a weekender. The look and feel of them is high quality. I also got them monogramed, for an added touch. I would highly recommend this tote.

I love this tore! I purchased it when it went on sale and wasn't sure what to expect but it has exceeded my expectations. The leather is a high quality, the straps are sturdy and the look is very polished! Very happy with this purchase, which will use for overnight trips and as a carry-on on flights!!

This is a fabulous weekend bag! I used it every time I'm traveling. Whether for leisure or work, it fits all my needs for a 2 to 3 day excursion.

I needed an overnight bag and was so happy I found this. The quality is amazing. When it arrived I was actually surprised at how beautiful the leather was. I had it monogrammed which gave it a really nice touch. It’s organized inside and offers just enough space without being huge.
