Vintage flare jean with flap pockets

Some of the most flattering jeans I've ever bought! For context, jeans are really hard for me and I always need a curvy fit (29 in waist, 43 in hips). These fit really well in my usual size 30! I'm 5'7", and the length was perfect. I have an athletic frame, and there's room in the thighs here without any pulling. Kept their shape after a full day of wear at work. They have more room than most J Crew jeans in the hips/thighs, but are true to size in the waist. Very high rise.

As an elder millennial, I absolutely love the style of these jeans. These are the perfect flare and perfect length. I’m around 5’7” with a ~32” inseam and the length is perfect for wearing sneakers or flats. I usually wear a size 4 or 27 and I sized down to a 26 in these. My only complaints are that the denim is a little stiff and scratchy and lint attracts to it super easily. Not ideal if you have a white dog in your household, like I do.

I so love these pair of jeans. Been looking for something like this for a very long time. I’m glad J.Crew had the sale.

Returned. First time trying denim from J crew. I followed the product sizing measurements which said these were true to size. Not at all. Way too big around the waist, way too baggy around my thighs, and the flare was ridiculously huge. Didn’t like them enough to try a smaller size.
