2 weeks agoSo to start it doesn’t fit “small” it fits short. I ordered a 4 based on all the reviews that it fit so tiny. I’m 5’2” and short works for me, so it ended up with a 2 but really could have purchased a 0, but am happy with it being a little roomy and hanging a bit lower. It is a short fit, but waist and hips are on par for J. Crew sizing and ease allowance. My waist is 26-26.5” and my hips are 36-36.5”. The fabric is a gorgeous burgundy red and I love the pocket detail.

January 14, 2026Purchased this skirt in black velvet. It is cute and very comfortable. It runs slightly large and on the short side. It must be worn with tights, in my case, but I’m very happy with my purchase.

Liked, didn't love
January 6, 2026This skirt is cute, but a bit too short for me in regular size (I'm 5'11" but usually when JCrew offers a Tall size in a miniskirt I don't like it because its awkwardly long). Also, though I did like it, it was a bit pricey so I returned.
