Contrast-trim lady jacket in bouclé tweed

I wanted to love this, but the fit and quality aren't there. Always a fan of their stripe trim, so really sad this didn't work.

I’m 5'2" and purchased this in a size 0 Classic. If you’re petite and have been hesitant about cropped jackets, this one is worth trying. The proportions are excellent. The 19" length hits right at my natural waist and doesn’t cut across the hips, which makes it incredibly flattering with high-rise bottoms. I’ve tried it with ivory pants, olive utility pants, and light denim, and it worked beautifully with all of them. The quality is lovely in real life. The fabric has a substantial, textured feel and the structure gives it a polished look. It’s not oversized — it’s tailored and architectural — and you can feel the shoulder structure (in a good way). It holds its shape and elevates even simple outfits. For reference, I’m small-busted with slim arms and the 0 fits me well without pulling. If you’re between sizes, have broader shoulders, or fuller arms, I would consider sizing up since this is not a relaxed jacket. I’ll likely wear it most with a sleeveless mock neck in ivory or black for a clean, modern look. I also think it would look great with a pop of red or navy underneath to pick up the trim. It’s definitely an investment piece, but I was able to purchase it during a promotion (30% off) and feel it’s a special, versatile addition to my wardrobe that instantly makes an outfit feel put together. Highly recommend for someone looking for a structured cropped jacket that actually fits proportionally.

Very cute and comfortable to wear! Hits about mid waist but I have a longer torso.
