Product Details

Garments for Good: The world's most important plant pollinators, bees, are in danger of disappearing, which is why we've teamed up with the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of insects. To help support its cause, we made this T-shirt featuring hand-drawn watercolors by London-based illustrator Marcel George (who our head women's designer discovered in an online gallery for new artists). Fifty percent of the retail price will go back to Xerces and its mission to save the bees. Learn more about how to save the bees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summer Favorite Not usually much for graphic tees, but wanted to support this alliance. Hands-down my favorite purchase of the summer. Other reviewers feel the material is too thin. My take: it's a beautiful, fine-slubbed linen with a sweet/gorgeous drape. Yes, it's slightly transparent, but the graphics on front help with see-thoroughness, and overall it's far nicer and sexier than the usual stiff cotton tee. Yes, it's off-white / pale ivory, for me more subtle than stark white. The graphics are beautiful and clearly printed. Launders well. I'm 5'6", 130#, 34A-B. The S, my usual, is just a bit on the large side, but with the drape it's not sloppy. I bought a second one, just in case! Love, love. More like this please!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pollinators Unite! This is a great tee! It's a tiny bit over-sized but still looks great. I did get the next size up because I throw everything into the dryer, and I was worried it might shrink. It's really soft and comfy - like earlier linen tees. I love it. FYI: Every single time I've worn it, people have stopped me on the street or made comments in shops to compliment the tee. It's a great conversation starter about pollinators, if one is so inclined!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEES ARE FRIENDS! Please learn all you can about bees. They pollenate the crops! If you want organic food..............YOU NEED BEES! The shirt is really cool. It's completely see-through, hence the 3 stars for quality, so it must be layered. I still give 5 stars overall just for the bees. My 12 yr. son is scared of bumble bees. I garden, and am around them all the time. If you're still, they'll buzz around you, but they won't hurt you. They're only interested in nectar. My son knows this, but is still scared, same as most adults. It's an irrational fear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good all the way around! This shirt runs a little large, but it still looks darling! It is "good all the way around" as it is a cute shirt and buying it goes towards helping bees! This is just wonderful! Purchases that help our environment and the creatures we share this planet with- perfect idea J. Crew!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Bee-u-tiful bee-tee. This is my second "Bee-T" from J crew. I love them both, and the cause they support. They do run a little large, but I do not like tight fitting tees, so this is a perfect fit for me. The material on this tee... is a little thin, and you can see your bra. However, I just wear mine with a little cardigan. You could even wear a smaller tighter fitting long sleeve T or a regular T shirt under it, or just wear it on its own. Very cute whatever your style is. Looking forward to the next bee design.
