I'm a huge fan of J. Crew's socks and I usually pick up several new pairs at the beginning of every Autumn to punch up my wardrobe. I spotted these in grey and orange and knew they'd be a great accent. They're a great piece to add color and texture to cuffed jeans or chinos with boots and they wear well throughout the day. I have had on and off success with washing and long term wear of some of the thicker varieties of socks from J. Crew but these are great!

I fell in love with these in the store. They looked so soft & warm, and they were piled in a cute metal basket. I didn't buy them then though. But I did get a J.Crew gift card, and I thought, I'm going to treat myself to those awesome socks. Boy, am I glad I did! They are just as soft and cozy as I imagined they would be. It's a treat every time I put them on.

Size or in this case, length does matter and this particular pair of socks comes up too short for me. Otherwise, I'd like them a lot. No, I wouldn't recommend that you purchase a pair.

Super comfy and warm socks - great for the winter. I bought them for my husband who used to live in New Orleans. One note - they are thicker than I thought they were when I ordered them - they are definitely not trouser socks, but my husband loves them.

These socks look just like a pair I got 3 seasons ago from smart wool but these are thin and too big on me (I wear ladies size 7 shoes) I'm hoping they shrink up in the wash. They are all for looks though the outside is beautiful and rustic looking like a winter cabin sock but the inside reveals the workings and would be easy to snag if you had a catchy nail. Can't be worn folded over because the inside looks unfinished so overall its a 5 for style and 3 for quality.
