Rated 1 out of 5 by Great concept, disappointing quality I love the style of this bag and would gladly purchase another, but only if the design of the strap is revised. Currently, the strap is attached to the bag only by a single stitch –– any heavy load will break that stitch over time. The way the bag is currently designed makes it impossible to carry books or a laptop for school or work without worrying about your bag tumbling onto the ground because of the stitch breaking. Rated 2 out of 5 by Good bag as long as it works Bought the bag Dec 2013 and it lasted until July 2014. The bag looks great and felt solid. It fit my laptop and could carry basically anything I would need with enough smaller pockets to keep everything organized. Without the shoulder strap or with a better one it would have been great. My gripe is with the shoulder strap, its barely adjustable and not terribly comfortable. More importantly its held onto the bag with a single stitch which failed after about half a year. If you're looking for a messenger bag for daily use I'd look elsewhere until there's a redesign. July 9, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great looking bag, poor quality Similar to another reviewer, I bought this bag in December of 2013 and by June 2014, the stitching around the handle and shoulder strap have starting coming loose and falling out. I wouldn't characterize my use of the bag "grueling" by any means, so it's disappointing that it would start falling apart so quickly. From a style standpoint, this is a terrific bag, it just leaves a lot to be desired from a quality/durability perspective. July 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Only OK I love how light the bag is, along with the size that seems to hold everything. One major problem I have noticed is that it seems that the hand strap on the top of the bag is already wearing and looks like it may break soon. I have only had the back for about 3 weeks and already can see this wear. September 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Like the others... strap problems This is an otherwise stellar bag. Great canvas quality, roomy... really a nice product. However, the way they secure the strap (and the "handle" at the top) lacks strength. The bag is roomy, but with such an unsecured strap it feels as if you should only carry >10lbs at a time. Definitely feels like this bag was not meant to carry books. Within a year and a half of use, sure enough, the strap ripped free where the seam stitches the leather to the canvas. The bag still looks great, it just stinks that such a bad defect can mar such a useful and nice-looking bag. Without the strap problems, 5 stars easily. Unfortunately I can only give it two (and thats being generous). I will look into a company that offers lifetime services for defects on their bags, which unfortunately this product does not have.
