Abingdon laptop bag

Abingdon laptop bag is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality bag, good value Have been using this bag every day for months and it's worked like a charm. Easily fits my iPad, gym clothes, lunch, and other random work stuff but is not a bulky bag which makes it easy for the daily commute on the L. Looks cool as well. Hard to imagine a better work bag at this price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Compromise I looked around quite a bit for a laptop bag before deciding on the Abingdon. I was drawn to it because of its style, more so than its functionality. Most of the bags that I looked at were too expensive for something I was going to throw around or leave on the floor next to a table or desk. Almost everything else that I looked at were trying to be stylish than their price point and looked cheap or they were just plain cheap. The Abingdon Laptop Bag is actually quite stylish and of great quality, independent of its price. I receive compliments on the bag, regularly. For the technicals, I stand 5'6" and the bag hits me just below my hip, with the strap at its shortest length. I enjoy most everything about the bag. There are two things missing that I would enjoy: 1) another pocket in the main storage area for the power cord, and 2) more consistent leather straps (the underside of one strap does not match the other). I'd be willing to pay a little to have matching straps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Evil purchase The reason I called this an evil purchase was that the bag was so nice, so good that I got "inspired" to buy more stuff at J Crew.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag with a single, fatal flaw. I've had this bag for a year and a half. It's been a great companion until about a month ago, when the leather loop for the shoulder strap ring broke. I've only used it to take my 15" laptop and a couple of small items to and from work. Thinking it would surely be under support, I took it to the nearest J. Crew and was told there is no warranty, and that I should try looking up a good leather worker to fix it. I would expect a bag like this to have support from the manufacturer, especially one as reputable as J. Crew. Aside from the strap issue, the bag is great. It has plenty of space, and looks and feels both stylish and rugged. I would recommend it, but with a warning about the strap durability.
