Rated 5 out of 5 by Intense black color After losing a bunch of weight and discovering that my favorite old black jeans weren't going to work any longer I shopped around for a good dense black pair to replace the old ones. The 770s had fit me in the past so when Crew ran their denim trade in program it was just too good a deal to pass up. Bear in mind that these are really solid dark black jeans and will show light dirt and dog hair pretty readily but if you want that really saturated color these garment dyed jeans are the way to go. Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Black Jean for Wardrobe A solid jean for your wardrobe. While the quality might not be as high as a selvedge jean, this jean is a solid garment-dyed product. I purchased the black jean and it's a stylish staple to a wardrobe. I think spills and light stains stand out, which forces me to wash them more frequently than I would like, but good pair overall. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Fit These jeans fit great for guys who like the slim look, but have more muscular thighs. Carmel color is bold enough to stand out, but can match with any shirt. July 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by It just doesn't feel like 484... I thought about trying new things recently -- so why not jeans? I've always been a huge fan of the 484 cut, in fact, it's the only jean that I wear these days. But recently, I thought about branching out and trying the other cuts J.Crew has to offer, and I am totally regretting it. Example: the 770. They make me feel like a grandpa (keep in mind I'm actually 28). They are super wide, loose to the rear end, and frankly, do not flatter any part of the body. I can appreciate variety, but who buys these? December 19, 2014
