Established in 1859 by Henry W. Carter in Lebanon, New Hampshire, H.W. Carter & Sons was one of America's first denim workwear manufacturers. By 1890, the company had become synonymous with tough and reliable clothing—and their can-do spirit lives on with this hard-wearing shirt-jacket, constructed from thick 16-ounce moleskin. Accented with a nickel Talon zipper (from a 1950s design), it's finished off with nickel snap chest pockets and a vintage "Carter's Overalls" label.
