Rated 4 out of 5 by Dugglesberg Quality and Fit slipping?
As 70% of my wardrobe comes from JCrew I am very aware of the consistency (or not) of the quality and fit. The "Broken In" tees used to be the best in the business -- with perfect fit in the arms (not boxy, baggy or flappy) and just the right length. I order a bunch of tees to replace older ones and was disappointed to see that in many cases the arms were not as fitted as those purchased last year, and the length was inconsistent and too long. JCrew: please keep to your high standards!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jack Only J.Crew Broken In Tees...Till Now
For the last 15 years or more I have only bought J. Crew broken in Tees. I have dozens and dozens of them. They were smooth, comfortable, tight weave, fit right and the best for the money. They were made in Indonesia or other foreign countries which is not unusual these days. But the last 5 I ordered were made in China. Now I don't have a problem with that per se, it is just that the quality was not the same. The fabric was loose knit, fuzzy and did not fit right. Thankfully J. Crew took them back. But they have lost a long time customer. I don't get it. Don't fix what isn't broke! Either get your supplier in China to bring the quality up to former excellent standards or go back to your previous suppliers. In the interim, you've lost a customer.

The jcrew mens tees used to be my go to but recently bought a few and was disappointed. The fabric has a different feel to it. Much thinner and lacked a softness it once had. I bought a white shirt and was slightly see through. Not sure why they keep messing with a good thing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jack Small and scratchy (my go-to tee is gone)
The quality is headed in the wrong direction. I used to buy these in bunches without a second thought, and would change into one every night as soon as I got home from work. But these latest tees are tighter than past ones (c. 2008-10) and the material is scratchy, almost as if the inside is micro-pilling all over. Perhaps I could live with *either* scratchier *or* tighter, but the combination of the two is disappointment squared. I miss my go-to tees.

Comfortable and eye catching.
Runs tight so if you like loose fit get a size up.
