This is the shirt every guy needs in his arsenal, in a classic pattern. It's crisply tailored and exceptionally soft, thanks to our top-secret multistep wash process that we first launched in 2005. (If we told you what it was, it wouldn't be a secret. Sorry.) The result? A shirt that feels like it's been through an adventure or two, right out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by attention getter Every time I wear this shirt, someone says "Nice shirt." June 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by In a world of shrinking shirt sizes.... Finally, a brand that stays true to size. A very nice fitting shirt. I also like the microdot design to break up the monotony or stripes and plaids these days. I will definitely be returning to J.Crew for more long sleeve button ups. May 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dark Midnight Blue, yes This is the first of J.crews dark blue patterned shirts a picked up in spring. It quickly became my 'favorite' shirt over a white crew tee and tan or wheat coloured jeans. So I went back and saw there were quite a few dark blue patterns and all of them were very nice. I picked up the dark blue diamond pattern, the midnight blue with tiny red paisley and yesterday I just got the textured cotton sea-blue cross-hatch pattern along with their indigo denim 'sporting good' selvedge. So one could say I am now a fanatic and somewhat of an expert on this seasons blue J.Crew cotton shirts. The $138 denim is definitely the best quality and reflected in price while the cotton prints, pindots, paisley, diamond and classic slim oxford are all excellent and I gave 4 stars onlt because the wallace/brns and sporting good sub-brands are a the top-notch. Most of these came in 'slim' and reg so check-as 'slim' looks like a million on me while 'reg.' just looks fine July 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dots, who doesn't like dots? Honest opinion, when I first tried this shirt on I was underwhelmed. The cut was to large (length and width) and the material felt a bit to stiff and rough. However, I decided to keep the shirt since I liked the pattern. Good thing I did... After one wash, and a full heat tumble dry, this shirt has tranformed into a favorite. The material is fine and the fit is perfect. Great shirt. September 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall good, but the collar is a hassle. While I fully enjoy this shirt. My main complaint is the collar, due to as where the buttons are situated and how to fasten the collar. That I wonder what was the logic behind it. But I like the design and how it feels. I just wish that the collar was simpler. February 17, 2015
