Product Details

Introducing the perfect shirt for the perfect tuxedo. Featuring a trim, tailored fit, this shirt was specifically created by our design team with the proportions of the Ludlow tuxedo in mind and was precision tailored in two-ply cotton fabric from Thomas Mason, one of Europe's oldest and most legendary mills (it's been weaving some of the world's finest cloth since 1796 and working with us since 2008). Finished with bespoke-inspired details, like reinforced hem gussets and sleeve plackets, it's accented with genuine mother-of-pearl buttons for a sharp and polished look.

Thomas Mason® for J.Crew Ludlow Slim-fit tuxedo shirt

Thomas Mason® for J.Crew Ludlow Slim-fit tuxedo shirt is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous High Quality Shirt I bought this shirt in white for my husband. It is pricey but worth every cent – an outstandingly well made tuxedo shirt. I was lucky to profit from a promotional price and getting an additional discount of 15%. The fabric is very nice: crisp and with pearly shimmer. It is not non-iron, however it is quite easy to iron. The buttons at the bip area are detachable so that you can iron the bip to perfection whithout distressing the mother-of-pearl buttons. The cuffs are indeed french and not barrel – a perfect and typical detail that should be. As to the fit, my husband is tall and slim with quite wide shoulders. The fit is good except for the neck area which is a bit loose. I do recommend this item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Such a great investment, but one little thing.... Ordered this for a very special wedding weekend for a great friend. Beautiful shirt, perfect fit, color is amazing, and the bright orange monogram on the cuff (I ordered it in river blue) is perfect. Here's the rub, its a barrel cuff, not a French cuff. True, the buttons that are used are beautiful, and they are built into the placket with a twill backing, which is a lovely detail that should be pointed out in the description. However, if you're expecting to wear cuff links (groomsman gift, family heirloom for a proper occasion) this won't work. Not as big of a deal here, I just had my tailor swap out the cuff buttons, but if you need a French cuff, this won't work. Otherwise, grab a few while you still can.
