Rated 4 out of 5 by Sagaboy Good fabric & finish; but runs a bit long
I purchased this jacket in size 36 Small (for reference, I'm 5'9"/150 lbs).
I got it online, before trying it on in the store.
While I was expecting a fit similar to those of the other J Crew unstructured jackets, this one unfortunately was a bit long. The sleeves were good, but the jacket itself was as long as the Regular. So, I ended up returning it.
That being said, the fabric & workmanship were good.

I was on the search for an unconstructed spring/summer blazer for a long time. I am 6'1" 190 lbs with wide shoulders and a narrow waist. This blazer in a 40R fit as close to perfectly off the rack as I have ever had. Not cheap but you pay for quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Natedawg I have all three colors (so far)
Bought all three colors shown. They are highly versatile pieces and match well with jeans or chinos. I can throw it over a dress shirt or with a a tshirt or henley. The cotton is soft as well and the design is slim (though I had the waist suppressed for all of them). 36/s fits my 5'8" 150lb slim build well without being too long or chopped at the tail.
I would HIGHLY recommend, this is one of J. Crew's best products.

I'm about 6'3, 180 pounds and the 40L fit like it was made custom for me! Bought this in the caspian blue and it is darker than it appears in the picture (which is a good thing) which I had already read elsewhere. Would definitely recommend if looking for a not so run-of-the-mill blue blazer

Now this is a sport coat! Sophisticated and sharp, yet easy. I purchased it in black and I can't think of an occasion in which the smart dresser couldn't make it work.
It came nicely packaged. Not a wrinkle.
