As another poster commented, the drawstrings indeed cheapen the sweater's appearance, and I removed them too. (When would you want to cinch a cashmere hood around your head?) I've also had some compliments on my charcoal gray sweater at the office, and it does look good and feel luxurious. I'm concerned with how much wool gets on the shirts I wear under it, however, and there was pilling at the cuffs after just a few wearings. I'm wondering if it will stand the test of time.

once you go cashmere it's hard to go back. Love this cashmere sweater, it got compliments from even my most unstylish male coworkers.
Didn't love the white drawstrings, made the sweater too casual for me so I pulled them out and it's fine.

I was looking for something like this for travel, and it fits the bill perfectly. I like the versatility- it works as a layer for sporty activities as well as a jacket for going out. A key piece of kit!

This is my third one of these cashmere hoodies -- black, then navy, now olive. They ain't cheap, so I buy one a year or every two years. But they're so worth it. Warm, very soft, stylish. They never pill, they fit well, they never lose their shape, and they provide a lot of warmth for the weight. I live in these things.

Perfect fit and feel, wear 2-3 times per week dressed up or down. Don't mind the white drawstrings, but often wonder what a different color drawstring would do for the sweater's range when considering a button down shirt or even tie in a work setting. Great for layering under fitted jackets without bulking.
