Product Details

When it comes to summer footwear, Soludos proves there's life beyond flip-flops. Nick Brown, a Londoner who moved to New York, realized his adopted city was severely lacking in classic espadrilles. Having grown up wearing the centuries-old sunny-day style, he set out to create his own, replicating the easy fit and lightweight construction of the originals, down to the jute soles and cloth uppers, but improving their comfort by offering a true left and right foot (old-school espadrilles have an identical left and right). Soludos's exclusive-to-J.Crew version features a chambray lining and one-of-a-kind cotton body that's washed for a slightly sun-faded look.

  • Cotton upper and lining.
  • Rubber sole.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can't get the size right We ordered our true size and it was too tight. The size up is too big. Last year we bought a few pairs of these and didn't have any problems Not sure what happened this year.....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice! These look great -- they have some "zip" to them but they are not over-the-top dandy. I have to say a word about JCrew customer service. I had a small problem with the stitching on one shoe, and JCrew made the exchange process exceptionally easy and me-oriented. Me=customer-oriented. What a pleasure, even when a problem arose. The shoes themselves are nice. Every item in my order was well crafted and also, in my mind, a real bargain given the quality. That's a tough match-up to find these days -- JCrew does it best. Thanks.
