Product Details

Named after Red Wing founder Charles Beckman, these boots have all the authenticity and true beauty—plus a dash of polish—that have made Red Wing Shoes (est. 1905) a favorite for over a century. We dyed the stitching to match and gave it some extra hand burnishing for a richer, more handsome finish that's exclusive to us. Handcrafted in the U.S. from the finest S.B. Foot leather, they're definitely built to impress.

  • SB Foot leather upper.
  • Roughed-out leather interior with lined cap toe.
  • Signature Vibram® Roccia sole for traction.
  • Made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Really happy with these boots! I did my homework on these Beckman Red Wing boots before I purchased them. They do run large and they do require some break in time. I wore mine for just over a week to soften them up and now they are incredible. They fit like loose slippers and look terrific with dark denim. No regrets here. May 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great footwear staple Great boot, however it does run slightly larger to size, and I could have ordered half a size down. That being said this is already recommended on the J. Crew website, and I chose to ignore it. Still very happy with my purchase and I look forward to getting a lot of wear out of this boot. April 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall, A Good Quality Boot I've had this pair of RW Beckmans for just about a year now, and I'll say that they've held up pretty well so far. They have a classic, versatile style that can go with pretty much anything from jeans to chinos. However, I was a little reluctant to give this boot a 5-star rating; main reason being that the quality consistency with Red Wing is a little overhyped. I've made this assessment after an experience with ordering the Rugged Classic boot a few years back (this Beckman was no exception#. You may find that the tongue is sewn on a little crooked, one side of the boot is made from a more rigid, finished piece of leather than the other, etc. Just a few things to expect if you tend to be nitpicky. But overall, this boot is a pretty decent piece of American craftsmanship. As I said, it goes well with pretty much anything #tip: swap out the flat laces for taslan or rawhide laces for different looks). And YES, do take J. Crew's recommendation and order half a size down. Rated 5 out of 5 by Handsome Boots The Beckman boots are fantastic - I had been wanting a pair of Red Wings for quite some time and found these to be the best looking of their Heritage boot line. It was just a bonus that my favorite retailer sells them in this beautiful, exclusive finish. As others have noted, these boots run large. I typically wear a 9.5 in most shoes, but found I wear a size 8 in the Beckmans. This is about as snug as you would want them, as they also run a bit narrow. The price might seem steep, but for the quality and option to send them back to Red Wing to be resoled, etc. I believe them to be a worthy purchase. They will be somewhat uncomfortable for about a month, as they take time to break in, however once they do, they are super comfortable and mold specifically to your foot. Additionally, you are sure to get complements on these handsome and timeless boots. If you are considering purchasing a pair of durable boots, look no further than the Red Wing Beckman boots from J.Crew. December 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Runs really big but comfortable & good looking I read other reviews before purchasing, so I ordered a half size smaller than I normally would, but they still feel a bit big. But they're super comfortable and look great. November 8, 2014
