Rated 4 out of 5 by Thomas Great Sweatshirt but Dye is Fragile
I recently purchased this sweatshirt in Vintage Merlot. I like the look and felt it could go well with a nice button down or just by itself. Collar is a little larger, but better than some that are too tight. The sleeves are tighter than expected but I think with time they will loosen a bit. I love the cuffs. I've had the sweatshirt about a month now and worn/washed it just a few times. Unfortunately the other night I dripped a spot of food on the front, and to avoid a stain I quickly dabbed/lightly rubbed the spot with a hot sponge. Before I knew it, the dye had disappeared and I was left with a white spot. I thought at first it was soap but after washing it, there is a pretty large spot on the front making the shirt limited to wearing around the house. Not sure what to do about it, but figured I should put it in a review for other buyers to beware and only wash it. I would like another but of course, the price has me holding off. Overall great shirt, but be careful with the dye.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JCrewShopper Nice fit and weight
The side stitching on this sweatshirt makes it both fitted and comfortable. It is in a medium weight cotton and seems to be consistent with the usual sizing of J.Crew clothes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TrimFit Beautiful shirt, act;;y does run small
Saw someone wearing this shirt and had to have it. It's a terrific and very comfortable shirt, provided you order one size up, which I rarely do. The Large in this case really equals a Medium in American men's sizes.
If the sizing were correct, it would be 5 stars.

Very nice fit and love the color and the finish of the fabric. Wish there was a hoodie version of that.

Looked good in the add. Probably want to size up if you want to layer it. Also the material is pretty stiff. Not sure if this is because of the dying or fading process but its just not very nice to the touch and fabric does not give very much.
Not what I thought it was based on the pic, but I'm keeping it in the arsenal because you CAN use it to achieve a look.
