how can you non longer offer these pants in stone? That is the most basic color and perfect for spring summer. Very disappointing and the new khaki color is too green to even be close to stone.

Love the Essential Chino in Classic Fit. It's hard to find a slim straight leg pant that's NOT skinny and/or low-rise. Please bring back the Dill, Clove, and Stone colors!!!!

I agree with the other reviewer--no stone? That is an essential color for a chino. The other colors are just off--too dark. Keep it simple. Stick to a light tan and a stone, and possibly a white.

KHAKI COLOR IS A BIT DARKER COMPARED TO MOST. I DO RECOMMEND THE FIT HIGHLY, HOWEVER, A STONE COLOR IS NEEDED. ALL AROUND GREAT PANT BUT COLORS COULD BE MODIFIED. JUST ADD STONE.

I prefer the 'classic' fit over the 'urban slim' fit for more traditional occasions, where I'm not looking to be identified as 'trendy' - only to make a timeless, classic statement. I am quite slim and tall (30/34) and the fit is good. I like the black color and I like the quality feel, although I haven't seen how they hold up over time. They will shrink a little (usually in length) if you machine dry them. The sewing on the buttons usually comes unraveled rather too quickly (same on all J. Crew pants). But, overall, these are a solid pair of slacks that I can rely on. Although I've not always been pleased with other styles of pants from J. Crew, I can count on these.
