Product Details

Inspired by the workwear of the 1940s, this jacket is made with wool tweed from England's Abraham Moon (aka the good stuff). It's completely unconstructed—in other words, it's made without of the internal canvasing and padding that give your suit jackets their precise silhouettes, so it's a little more casual but still polished. It's finished with elbow patches and patch pockets, two details that give the jacket an authentic vintage feel.

  • English wool.
  • Three-button closure.
  • Nonfunctional buttons at cuffs.
  • Unlined.
  • Dry clean.
  • Import.
Size & Fit Details

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best I've received from Wallace & Barnes I own at least a dozen items from the Wallace & Barnes line. I don't have this complete suit, just the pants. The quality is amazing, so is the cut and fit. Its made of high quality, Moon wool, has all buttons to use old fashioned suspenders, classic wing back, and a really unique style coin pocket. I hope all Wallace & Barnes quality is at this level in the future. December 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by boxy, ugly not jcrew worthy i own more than 8 jcrew blazers. They are my go to. Love moon wool. This blazer is a disgrace to jcrew. The fabric is cheap and scratchy. It is incredibly boxy. The sleeves are big. The button stance is strange. The pants to this suit are beautiful but the jacket is like wearing a burlap sack. Stick with Ludlow suits. March 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Humongous Let Down This suit which I ordered, which I will be returning, is absolutely terrible. This would be my 4th JCrew suit, if I kept it, so I am used to a very high quality and standard in both the fabrics and the construction. The Sport Coat being completely unlined, save for the sleeves, was a massive bummer. The pants are similarly unlined and very itchy. The fit of the coat and pants was also quite ridiculous. I have other Wallace & Barnes suit pants that I purchased last season and they are thick, well cut and very, very high quality. These pants are flimsy, very poorly cut and just overall cheap feeling. The coat, being unvented and tailored, is very, very tight. With the material used it seems like a recipe for tearing. October 28, 2014
