Rated 5 out of 5 by Compliments All Around For years, I wanted a buffalo check shirt. I also wanted on that I could wear in Florida. It's hot here and buffalo check tends to be a winter pattern made with more wintry materials. Then J. Crew saves the day with a OCBD in buffalo check. Sold. I wear this bad boy to casual Friday and I have never gotten more compliments on a single shirt. Everywhere I go, people tell me it's a great shirt. And I agree. It's super comfortable and I get that manly lumberjack look I've always wanted. I'm off to go eat a turf-and-turf and wrestle some bears. Great shirt, five stars. November 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My new favourite shirt The soft, thick fabric of this shirt is ideal for fall, and its smaller check pattern makes it a bit more refined and a bit less lumberjack than other buffalo plaids. Definitely recommend. November 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great alternative to flannel I love the printed oxfords, especially this one as it is a great -- less warm -- alternative to a flannel in a similar buffalo check pattern. Drape on the OCBD is great and it's more substantive than a poplin shirt while not going full flannel or heathered cotton. Perfect for Fall and Winter. November 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good fit and style, but unecessary details added. Pretty good shirt. Style, fabric and fit are all nice. But a couple of necessary details detract from it. Why do I need a button at the back of the collar? And why do I need a little loop/hook sewn into the back of shirt? Who ever hangs shirts that way? What are they even for?? I don't like them. Rated 5 out of 5 by Dressed up version of dressed down style If you're looking for a lighter weight, and slightly dressier version of the flannel buffalo check - this is it. This is the always great J Crew oxford in the traditional buffalo check. It was my go to holiday party shirt. January 9, 2015
